I’m a senior lecturer in behavioral ecology and comparative cognition at the University of Geneva, Switzerland. I came across your page by accident, but I really enjoyed your critique of BSG. Not so many people appreciate the series, but I think I have sufficient TV and movie experience (including sci-fi and psychological drama) to know a really good series when I see one.
I also enjoyed your proposal for atheist holidays. I never thought of that before. If only we could make it work… (very low probability in Europe; abysmally low in the US).

Hi Roland, Have you seen Stargate SG-1? Just asking.
Also I think it is a brilliant idea for the holiday. We should have a first go at it. Maybe one day we will be remembered as the fathers of Athiesm? I can’t imagine what the religious folks would think of us then…. MOYWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
